Effective 22 September 2026
Privacy Policy
Lavenote is a diary. It is built so that the people who make it never see what you write.
What we collect
Nothing. Lavenote has no account, no server of its own, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not receive your entries, your name or any information about how you use the app.
Where your diary is kept
Entries are saved on your iPhone. If you are signed in to iCloud, they are also kept in your own private iCloud storage, run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. This is what lets the diary come back on a new iPhone. We cannot read this storage.
Sharing with family
If you invite someone, Apple's iCloud sharing gives them access to the same diary. You choose who can add entries and who can only look, and you can remove people at any time from the Family screen. The name shown on entries is the one each person types in the app.
Reports you export
A PDF report is only created when you ask for one, on your phone, and only goes where you send it.
Widgets and Siri
A log made from a widget, Siri or the Action button is kept on your iPhone until the app adds it to your diary.
Deleting your data
Delete any entry from its detail sheet. To remove everything, delete the app and, in iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage, delete Lavenote's data.
Children
Lavenote can be used by a parent or carer on behalf of a child. It collects no information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
Contact
This website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and stores no personal data; the app itself has no analytics at all.
Lavenote is a diary and not a medical device. It does not give advice or replace a doctor.
